Six porches, more than a dozen bands and other performers! This event is FREE, but we do remind you that the bands LOVE your tips, so please come out and support your local musicians! Lawn chair or blankets are recommended so you can sit and enjoy the performances. Or get up and dance!

LCA has hosted Porch Fest since 2021 and we have made the list of Porch Fests held around the world — the only Porch Fest in Bucks County! Woo woo!

Musical genres include folk, rock, jazz, Haitian, blues, Broadway, indie, and psychedelic.  In other words, there will be something for everyone!  This event, sponsored by Langhorne Council for the Arts, is family-friendly and free, although tipping of the bands is much appreciated. A unique feature of Langhorne Porch Fest is the “Rising Stars Stage” at the Richardson House porch.  Among the young performers will be vocal students of Susan Rheingans singing Broadway show tunes and students from Action Karate showing off their moves.  A complete schedule and map will be posted on www.LanghorneArts.org.  Programs will be available on the day of the event.  Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs or blankets and to wear comfortable shoes for walking (and dancing!).  Langhorne Council for the Arts first hosted Porch Fest in the summer of 2021 as a way to bring the community safely together outdoors for a fun musical experience after a dismal pandemic year.  It was also a way to get musicians working again, as they had been hit very hard by shutdowns of their usual venues in 2020-2021. Langhorne Porch Fest was so popular that it has continued as an annual celebration of music and community.
