Experience Yardley welcomes you for an unforgettable musical journey this summer, right in the heart of Yardley Borough. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Buttonwood Park, our free live outdoor music concerts offer a diverse array of performances that cater to all tastes and ages.

On the evening of Wednesday, May 27th we’ll be joined by James Day and the Fish Fry, your “full-service” New Orleans music band.

Based in the mid-Atlantic, James Day and the Fish Fry perform at festivals and venues in Canada and along the East Coast. On any given night, one can hear all styles of New Orleans music: a gumbo mix of street parades, Cuban rumbas, swamp pap, zydeco, and New Orleans classics. It’s all there in the pot: backbeat drumming, slapping upright bass, fat tone guitar, squeezing accordion, honking saxophone, scratchy frottoir, Cajun fiddle, and ripping harmonica. If you want to dance, or just soak up some fine New Orleans music, then make it our for some Crescent City Gumbo Vibes!
