Fa, La, La! The highlight of our Holiday Open Houses will be the ever changing model
train layout with tooting engines, clattering cabooses, and a trolley. The scenes evoke
Yardley’s past and present with familiar buildings, landmarks, and billboards.
Standing tall will be a real spruce decorated as a Victorian tree would have been in the
late 1800’s with tussie mussies, gilded walnuts, handmade paper ornaments, and toys.
Of course, there will be real candles.
Cutout sugar cookies will be offered to all, and “Yardley” gifts, including the new
ornaments from England and a new Destination Yardley tea towel, can be purchased.
