Mt. Concordia Stories of Yardley’s Hill
June 25 @ 7:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Yardley’s low-lying stretch along the Delaware River gets a lot of attention, but the high ground west of South Main Street not so much. What is commonly known today as “College Avenue Hill” has many a story. Quarrying was done here, industry flourished, “Yardley Heights” and “Mt. Concordia” were among its names, it is the site of the town’s school, its growth was spurred by the advent of US Steel and the Baby Boom, and the sledding tales are daring do.
Find out about delusions of grandeur and some different aspects of town.
