Strolling for Service Dogs
Alpha Bravo Canine is celebrating a decade of changing lives by providing service dogs to veterans affected by PTSD and brain injuries. Alpha Bravo Canine’s mission is to raise, train, and donate trained service dogs to U.S military veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), and other combat-related disabilities. To mark their 10th Anniversary, we are hosting the Strolling for Service Dogs event on September 6, 2025 at the Garden of Reflection from 11-3, featuring family-friendly activities and an exciting dog-friendly walk. This year, our goal is to raise at least $50,000 to fund the training and donation of two service dogs for deserving veterans. The event is being hosted by Nicky Christopher, also known as the Birthday Lawn Bandit, and Ben Ruepp, both high school students, along with other dedicated students from Pennsbury High School from Yardley, PA.
Each paid registration will receive a swag bag~ including a T-shirt and dog bandanna, along with any sponsor giveaways, guaranteed to the first 200 registrations. Food and local vendors selling their amazing products will also have tables. Children games and activities, raffle giveaways, face-painting, puppy kissing booths, caricatures, food trucks, and more. Plenty of raffles to choose from with retail values of over $1500.
All dogs attending must be human and dog-friendly. If you don’t have a dog to walk, we will provide a stuffed pooch to you if you would like OR just come and grab some raffle tickets and enjoy the day with us while supporting our mission.
Registration is $25. Children ages 10 and under are free. Use this link to sign up https://runsignup.com/Race/PA/Yardley/StrollingforServiceDogsFundraiser
Alpha Bravo Canine is operating from a temporary space in Oxford Valley Mall after being forced out of their training home earlier this year. There is an urgent need for a permanent home in the Yardley (LMT) area. Alpha Bravo Canine is looking for approximately 5,000 square feet of space to host volunteer activities, service dog training, and veteran preparation programs. If you have a location available or would like to contribute to this important mission, please reach out via the Alpha Bravo Canine website.
If you would like to make a donation to Alpha Bravo Canine you can use the registration link to do so or visti us at www.alphabravocanine.org.
