SUMMARY:Yardley Boy\, Stage and Screen Actor\, Blacksmith… My Life\, So Far by Doug Schlicher
DESCRIPTION:Doug Schlicher is one of those people to whom you could listen for hours – a true raconteur. His tales of\ngrowing up in Yardley in the 1950’s are so colorful\, and his life story after that is fascinating\, filled with\ncelebrities and unexpected turns. \nCome hear Doug\, see his photos and video clips\, and be enthralled. He has long been an actor\, known\nprofessionally as Douglas Hayle; as well as a Formula One racing buff; a bibliophile; a long-distance\nhitchhiker; an encyclopedia salesman; a carpet layer; a motorcyclist (with a bum elbow to prove it); a waiter; a blacksmith ( Williamsburg and Pennsbury Manor have purchased his reproduction nails); and a sexton. \nAt the heart of Yardley are its people. Doug Schlicher is one who you’ll want to know.
